This book changed my life and my business. Instead of selling a product, the authors Burg and Mann helped me understand that I can only sell the value a product or service provides. If they don't see value in the product or service, they won't buy. I was a real estate broker and owner for 25 years. Then I started a club, and now I have many clubs so businesspeople and companies can get business through referrals. Now, 20 years in, I've learned even more. I learned that word-of-mouth marketing is the best and least expensive way to do business. The book emphasizes the Five Stratospheric Laws of Success. They're simple and incredibly easy. However, changing one's habits takes some mental adjustment to how business gets done. I was honored to meet Bob at a workshop in Florida. He's not only a fantastic author, but also a wonderful human being.
